NIDO Industrial installation

NIDO Industrial installation
  • The NIDO Industrial power supply, access point, and all medium or high-voltage electrical sockets—including NIDO plugs—must be positioned at least 1 meter above ground to prevent direct contact with water or fertilizer. All low- and medium-voltage sockets must be installed in splash-protected locations.
  • The temperature/humidity sensor is not water-resistant: handle with care and avoid direct splashes. Position at least 1 meter from the ground.
  • Never place NIDO Industrial or electrical sockets inside a box: any water leakage could cause electric shock and damage the device.
  • The installation kit does not include the 1/2” hose or the submersible pump. The pump must be sized according to the system volume: for volumes between 1 and 30 m³, the recommended flow rate is between 1,500 and 3,000 L/h, while for volumes over 30 m³, the recommended flow rate ranges from 3,000 to 6,000 L/h.

1. Internet connection
Connect the access point included in the kit (Internet port) to your router/switch and to the power supply.

2. Preparing pH/EC probes
Remove the pH probe’s storage cap and insert both the pH and EC probes into their fittings until fully seated.
Tighten the fittings gently and connect the respective connectors.

3. Water tank connection
Use a standard 1/2” hose to connect NIDO Industrial to the water tank.
Connect the submersible pump* to the water filter, then connect the filter’s outlet to the NIDO Industrial IN port using the quick connector provided in the kit.
(*The submersible pump and 1/2” hose are not included in the kit.)

4. Water outlet
Connect the OUT hose to NIDO Industrial using the quick connector provided.

5. Dosing pump connection
Connect the dosing pumps to the fertilizer and acid tanks using the included 12 mm hose. Insert the check valve/filter at the end of the hose (the part submerged in the tank).

6. Level sensor installation
If the water tank is suitable, drill a hole using the included drill bit to insert the level sensor, then connect it to the probe cable.

7. Electrical connections
Connect the level/temperature sensor cable, the power cable, and finally plug into the socket.
Ensure the power supply is positioned at least 50 cm from the ground and away from water splashes.

8. Connecting to the NidoPro app
Before pairing NIDO Industrial with the NidoPro app, make sure the device is connected to the access point and online (green and blue lights on the NIDO Industrial panel must be ON).
