Specific storage solution for pH probe (500 ml).
How does it work?
Inside the pH probe there is a gel, this gel has the same mixture as the KCL storage solution. When you place the pH meter or pH electrode in the KCL solution, you are reloading the KCL reference solution that is inside the pH electrode. If you refill the pH electrode regularly, you will get better pH measurements and a longer life span of the pH or pH probe.
Why is maintenance of the probe important?
The pH electrode is the most delicate part of NIDO, correct maintenance of the electrode is essential for a stable measurement over time. It is recommended to immerse the pH electrode in the KCL for at least 24 hours every 30 days of use. If the measurements become unstable or incorrect it is recommended to leave the pH electrode immersed in the KCL for at least 48 hours.
